Hi guitar friends, today I’m gonna teach you the 7PM FABULOUS BLUES LICK. I recorded this video lesson at around 7 PM Central European time, and the lick sounds kind of fabulous don’t you think so? π so there you have it. π
Blues Lick in the key of A
We’re playing a lick that is created around the pentatonic blues scale and finds itself in the key of A and contains the blue note (b5) and the major 3rd. We got some hammer-ons, pull-offs and slides in there. No bend-ups in this one and the lick finishes with a slide into an A7 chord. Really nice.
Below you can find the tabs and video lesson to learn this fabulous blues lick.
Enjoy!

Hi Klaus,
Thanks for sharing! I find it hard to stretch to the eighth fret with my third finger with the first on fret 5 and still have enough strength to do the pull off clearly. Is there a short cut. Obviously, this is my first try at playing a lick of any kind.
Klaus Crow says
Hi Inger,
You could do it with your fourth finger but it contains less strength than your third finger,
but don’t worry it’s a beginners thing. You fingers still need to learn to stretch. It’s just like yoga, if you want to learn a split it takes time too, with your fingers it’s the same thing. Just keep trying and you’ll get better at it each time.
Keep picking! :)
